Today's summer fun friday activity for the girls (juggled in between shooting for the Dora commercial) was making friendship bracelets.
I caved in to allowing Reanna to make me one that she tied onto my wrist....
I'm a little agitated (like I just got a tattoo while drunk), going along with the idea that I'm supposed to wear this for as long as it naturally stays on. Friendship bracelet culture is completely alien to me, and I learned more than I feel I ever needed to know about them (I had to have reassurance from the girls that boys ever wear these without compromise to their masculine dignity).
I am honored, though, since I hold Reanna in the highest regard. I wish I had a dozen more like her in my group.
Her weaving/threading/knitting technique, by the way, was absolutely enthralling and impressive to me.
