It may seem obvious; people might assume it to be subjective. But coaches know...
It's been my experience that most non-gymnasts do not have "the eye" for what distinguishes "good technique" from "poor technique". Coaches, on the other hand, can recognize instantly which gymnasts are the product of technical excellence in coaching, merely by observing the most basic of gymnastics skills- a handstand...a roll....a cartwheel....a tap swing.
